Masonry mesh for aerated concrete blocks is a material structured from durable polymer threads or steel wire, designed to reinforce enclosing structures and plaster layers. In construction, it is referred to as reinforcing mesh for masonry.

There are three main uses for grids:

• Reinforcement of aerated concrete with a mesh in horizontal rows (as well as masonry from any other blocks and bricks);
• Connection device in two-layer masonry (aerated concrete with brick lining);
• Strengthening the plaster layer.

Since the masonry mesh for aerated concrete is made from fundamentally different materials, it is classified differently.
